Job Description
About the Job
Anthro Energy is seeking a seasoned R&D Facilities Manager to oversee our current and future facilities, from lab safety/upkeep to overall site uptime management. The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing R&D and/or pilot manufacturing facilities, be a strong and organized communicator, and drive projects forward effectively.
What you will do
- Coordinate the design and build of new facility by facilitating discussions between internal stakeholders and external vendors (i.e. architects, general contractors, etc.)
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring optimal efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of all facility equipment, including infrastructural support such as HVAC, MEP, and IT, as well as test/process equipment such as cyclers, characterization equipment, environmental chambers.
- Maintain a safe working environment by establishing and enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a laboratory or research environment in battery or similar technology field
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex facility operations and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, project-planning, and organization abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
