Job Description

The Operation Maintenance engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the
efficient and effective operation of site equipment. As a Maintenance
engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities, and
ensuring that all repair and maintenance tasks are carried out to the highest
standard. Maintenance engineers must possess extensive knowledge and
experience in industrial mechanics, electrical and instrumentation,
exceptional leadership skills, teamwork, and the ability to handle high-
pressure situations.

  • Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
  • Lead in the daily operations of the Distribution Control Centre Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
  • Developing and implementing mechanical preventive maintenance to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
  • Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrument malfunctions
  • and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
  • Documenting processes and maintaining service records.
  • Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
  • Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions.
  • Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
  • Preparing maintenance plans and requirements based on maintenance contracts.
  • Preparing and developing weekly, monthly & annual preventive maintenance schedules for maintenance and Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Preparing weekly maintenance checklist including all dates, material, tests and resources needed.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial, electrical mechatronic similar.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or CO2 facility.
  • Extensive knowledge of maintenance, installations, and repairs.
  • Have an experience in plant operation.
  • Proficiency in maintenance and diagnostic testing software.
  • Experience in maintenance of the following equipment pumps, compressors,dryers, valves, boilers, motors, generators, refrigeration system.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of different types of tools.
  • Able to perform tasks with minimum supervision
  • Great organizational and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to perform maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
  • Willing to travel to different locations for maintenance tasks.
  • Experience in maintenance of rotating and static equipment.
  • Excellent computer and report writing skills.
  • Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to Company HSSE regulations and policies.
