What ChargePass makes

ChargePass is a super-app for Electric Vehicle charging, making it easy to find and use public chargers.

Company Info

ChargePass is a super-app for Electric Vehicle charging, making it easy to find and use public chargers.

Role of software at ChargePass

ChargePass operates as a marketplace, seamlessly connecting EV drivers with available fast charging capacity. The platform collaborates with charging providers to identify surplus capacity and determine pricing based on electricity costs.

For drivers, ChargePass ensures a user-friendly and dependable experience for locating, navigating, and utilizing charging stations. The company's primary focus lies in software development, leveraging data to deliver a seamless consumer experience, rather than owning or operating charging infrastructure.

ChargePass's Trajectory

ChargePass has recently completed their pre-seed round and are currently in the process of developing the company. Their goal is to establish the largest charging network and expand their operations to cover all major metropolitan areas in the United States within the next 3 to 5 years.

ChargePass's Climate Impact

The motivation behind the development of ChargePass is to assist individuals who do not belong to the high-income, early-adopter demographic in transitioning to electric vehicles. These individuals, characterized by their cost-consciousness and lack of access to home charging facilities, include high-mileage drivers such as rideshare and food-delivery workers who often reside in non-owned homes or apartments. The transition of these drivers from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs) carries a CO2 reduction potential that is 3-4 times greater than the average, implying a significant environmental impact. If ChargePass can onboard one million users onto its platform, they collectively have the potential to mitigate the emission of 10 mega-tons of CO2 annually.
